Last year we talked about, as a mentor, when is your effort enough. When is it time to back off? Well, what about when your mentees—when do they need to  need to draw the line in pursuits? Both in excessive effort or walking away prematurely before they’ve hit enough and missed a chance. 

Great mentors have this uncanny skill to get the stubborn mind to actually listen. But that skill, to get them to lift their head, even if just for a second, can be learned. Because that second is all they need.
