There’s “control,” and then there’s “control.” Nope, didn’t spell those differently. What you didn’t hear though was how I said them. And that’s very much the same for the way in which leaders use control. It’s the tone and the intention; the direction the camera is pointing—a group portrait or a selfie.
Here’s the thing—true control freaks don’t care or refuse to acknowledge it. This post isn’t for them. It’s for those who are aware, want to be great leaders and remain focused on building the best, while remaining accountable to their disposition and approach to keep that momentum rolling in changing tide.
