Leaders—developers, have a lot of responsibility on their hands. Known and implied. And they can be pretty rough on themselves.

When a plan doesn’t work well, it’s tough. When help for someone else doesn’t work well, it’s even tougher.

What comes of it and what the mentor makes of it is where the difference stands. For the mentor, and for others.
