Mentoring the Brilliant


Some growing mentors may be put off by the idea that they don’t have to be—nor are they—more brilliant than the people they guide. It may make it easier to accept when they see that the opportunities for mentoring are greatest with brilliance! But how do you mentor someone clearly beyond your own experience, expertise, or intelligence? First, remember, they aren’t looking for your technical expertise. Then dig!
