Podcast #5: The Multiple Mentor Concept
Credit to Ted Ideas and Tony Tjan for bringing about this week’s cool conversation! Having a mentor seems like a specialized idea to many; doing it intentionally is even more foreign, since it “just happens” most of the time. And introducing the idea of not just having multiple mentors, and not just having them intentionally, but intentionally having them to fulfill specific roles for you seems– well, a little reverse-charge from the role of a mentee. But it makes perfect sense! And works!
And we want you to not only consider having multiple mentors, but especially to 1) help mentors identify what their best role is in mentoring, and 2) build mentors to instill in their mentees the wisdom to seek multiple mentors.
As promised, the post we discuss: The 5 Types of Mentors You Need in Your Life
