Developing a Pipeline: Leaders (pt 1)

To keep things a little more digestible, I broke some of these in two parts after the fact. No pretty transitions, just kinda hit pause at a good break point. Hope it makes it easier for you and not harder!

 

The first of four specific groups we’re addressing in this series, literature on preparing leaders is pretty much countless. This starting block, though, gives us a place to work forward for the BIGGER opportunities of grooming and mentoring others.  Specifically, Developing a Pipeline of leaders requires mentors to:  

Start early
Think forward. Plan forward. Build forward.
Create coachability.
 

We’ve seen that starting early thing before, and you can bet the trend will continue! But there’s a different take on just what mentors are starting early with here.
