Building a Pipeline of Mentors
So when I first started writing this series last spring, the intention of course was to culminate with this one, Mentors. Cause, well, duh… But as I plotted it out, it looked odd to have the order up front—Leaders, Builders, Workers, then Mentors—like it was out of progression. But that’s the whole thing I wanted to shake up. If we start at workers – builders – leaders – and then mentors… it might “flow” better, but it wouldn’t illustrate how you can most truly make an impact. Mentors should be closest to the workers and builders. In touch with the leaders, but in tune with the majority. That’s where direction starts.
While everything else in the last 6 weeks may have been a blur, hopefully now, at this point, it is clear what a pipeline it all becomes.
