Building leaders takes time. It takes foundational principles that only get applied once time does its job of experience. Preparing others for those moments and periods of steadfastness and adaptation is done like flying from the nest—give ‘em what you got, then half watch out of one eye as they jump.
But giving them what you’ve got means understanding what you’ve got. Stories are helpful. But breaking it into meaningful components of when steadfastness is strong or stubborn, or when accommodation is puppetry or quality movement can help them translate it to their very moment when it comes.
